Snap-on Equipment Releases the Latest Addition to the John Bean Balancer Line

March 24, 2008 -- Snap-on Equipment announces the release of the latest addition to its line of John Bean wheel balancers. The VPI System IV is a high performance wheel balancer with the industry’s most accurate balancing technology, Virtual Plane Imaging (VPI)^TM.

The VPI System IV is fast, accurate and easy to use. In a single six-second spin, the VPI System IV produces readings for all three data parameters. By simply placing the two data set arms at the rim positions, the patented VPI^TM technology calculates the needed weight amount and optimal placement. With the VPI System IV, any technician can quickly identify and solve customer imbalance issues with minimal training.

The VPI System IV balancer is available in two models: the EEWB516B with the Quick Mount Speed Nut wheel clamping feature; and the EEWB516P, featuring the popular Power Clamp automatic clamping feature for faster operation. Both models include patented VPI^TM technology, cost-saving options such as WeightMiser^TM wheel weight reduction software, and a Specialty Mode featuring Match Balancing and Wheel Optimization for handling virtually any after-market or OEM wheel.
