VPITM - Ultimate Precision and Durability
All John Bean balancers feature the industry’s best balancing technology - Virtual Plane Imaging. Patented VPITM technology incorporates a unique mounting configuration for the measuring sensors similar to high-precision industrial applications. This configuration reduces vibration and wear and tear on the balancer by moving the sensor outside the cabinet - avoiding internal temperature fluctuations and stresses.
As a result, VPI Balancers offer the ultimate in precision and repeatability.
Time-Saving, Money-Making Features
Automatic Calculation of Rim Width and Diameter
Just touch the inboard and outboard rim flanges with the dual data arms and automatically input all wheel parameters (distance, width and diameter).
Power Clamp
The VPI System IV power clamp automatically locks the tire and rim assembly in place. Clamping pressure is automatically monitored for consistent and repeatable results. No additional checking procedures are required.
LCD Monitor and Graphical User Interace
The color monitor displays all the information required to properly and quickly complete balancing procedures. Easily navigate the most advanced diagnostics, and communicate results and suggested repairs to your customers.
Spring-Held Holder & Placement Arm
Set tape weight positions prior to balancing for optimal appearance.
WeightMiserTM
By recommending lower weight amounts to remove sufficient vibration from a tire and wheel assembly, WeightMiser offers tremendous savings.
How does it work?
When in the WeightMiser mode, software determines the possibility to reduce static and dynamic imbalance below the given thresholds using a single weight. If a single weight approach is feasible, then a single weight is recommended. If not, two-weight balancing is recommended with amounts remaining lower than precision balance recommendations.
WeightMiser also features a Weight Savings screen. This screen is a counter that tracks WeightMiser savings. It accepts input for dollar amounts on the cost of tape and clip type weights (by the pound) and runs daily and cumulative totals, for instant reviews of your savings!
